Climbing wall Ovčín

The artificial climbing wall OVČÍN is located in the old village Turčianske Jaseno, about 25 minutes by car from the hotel Impozant. The bouldering wall is located in a reconstructed building of an old sheepfold, where 300 sheep used to winter. The bouldering climbing wall is about 200 m2 and there are about 20 routes – boulders with difficulty from 4 to 7. Children and beginners can use a separate wall on the first floor.

Bouldering for the first time?

If you want to try bouldering, this is useful information for your first visit.

The sheepfold is a bouldering wall and is therefore climbed without ropes or belay equipment. You will need climbing shoes for bouldering, which you can borrow from us if you don’t already have them. If you are a complete beginner, you can book our experienced instructor to show you the basics of climbing on a bouldering wall.
