HZS Via Ferrata to Martinské Hole

The very attractive Via Ferrata to Martinské Hole is a real adrenaline treat. It passes through a beautiful wild canyon in the vicinity of Pivovarský Brook in the locality of Martinské Hole. The via ferrata is easily accessible from the town of Martin from the location of Stráne, where there is a large parking lot.

Entry is possible only with a ferrata set (helmet, seat, fall damper – can be rented in the Fatraski rental shop, near the hotel). The HZS Via Ferrata is not accessible all year round and you need to check the closure period. It is one of the few accessible for children from 10 years of age, who are secured with a rope accompanied by their parents. The trail is one-way and a different route is used on the way back, or you can use an alternative way to go down on the off-road scooters offered by the Fatraski rental shop in Martinské Hole.
